Kieran Gibbs has completed his move to West Brom on a four-year deal.
The full back signs from Arsenal for a fee believed to be £7million.
It appeared that Gibbs was set to join Watford after they became the first club to agree a fee with the Gunners last weekend but negotiations collapsed over personal terms and he has now signed a four-year deal after passing a medical on Tuesday night.
The irony in this deal is that West Brom offered £10m plus £2m in add-ons for Gibbs earlier in the window when Arsenal were holding out for their original £15m valuation. It was only when news emerged that Watford negotiated a lower fee that West Brom’s interest was reignited.
Gibbs joined Arsenal's academy from Wimbledon in 2004 before going on to make 137 senior appearances for the Gunners.
