Brawn promises Button can overtake Hamilton
New Honda boss Ross Brawn has promised Jenson Button a car capable of beating Lewis Hamilton.
Button endured a wretched 2007 season — calling his machine 'a dog' — in painful contrast to Hamilton's dazzling debut season.

But Brawn, the mastermind behind Michael Schumacher's seven world titles at Benetton and Ferrari, is confident Button can regain his status as Britain's top driver.
He said: 'The chances are very good. I just can't guarantee how long it will take. There are no obstacles in our way, just a terrific challenge. Jenson has shown admirable perseverance this year. He's kept at it. He deserves more success than he's had.'
Brawn's arrival as team principal is a big boost for Button, who said of the news: 'It's the best thing that's happened for a long time.'
