French actor Gérard Depardieu struggled to keep his hands off of his co-star Isabelle Huppert at a photo call for their new film Valley Of Love in Cannes.
Depardieu gave Huppert a surprise as he persisted on leaning in for a kiss as the pair posed alongside their co-stars at the 68th international film festival earlier today.
Huppert, 62 – who is married to producer Ronald Chammah – did not look too happy and attempted to politely refuse his advances.
The 66-year-old actor even lit up a cigarette at one point, took a drag and continued to lean in for a kiss.

Huppert – who looked summery in a white embroidered dress which she fashioned with a pair of brown sunglasses – eventually allowed Depardieu a peck on the cheek, but didn't look too happy about it.

The pair were joined at the photo call by director Guillaume Nicloux and actor Dan Warner.
Valley Of Love – which is in competition for the coveted Palme d'Or – tells the story of two famous actors who used to be a couple and had a son 25 years ago.
After their son's death they reunite and receive a letter telling them to visit five places in Death Valley which will make their son disappear.
