A string of bollards that look like pencils has been installed outside a London school.
The colourful barrier has gone up at Green Lane Primary School in Sutton. Road safety experts say they are more effective because they remind drivers there is a school.
Headteacher Sally Berlemont said: “Parents have already complimented us on how much safer the roads are — and the children really like the bollards.”
