A 22-year-old man has been arrested after a luxury jewellers in the City was raided and members of the public threatened with a machete.
Three men on mopeds smashed the windows of Carr Watches and Diamonds, in Liverpool Street, on January 22 in front of shocked city workers at 2.30pm.
Dramatic video footage captured a have-a-go hero tackle one of the machete-wielding robbers who was chased to an underground car-park and arrested by police. A police officer was also threatened with the weapon.
The two other men escaped on mopeds.

City Police arrested a man on Tuesday as part of a pre-planned operation to trace the men who fled.
Two addresses are also being searched in the Rotherhithe area as part of the operation.
A 22-year-old man has been charged with conspiracy to rob and threaten a person with a knife.
He is due to appear at the Old Bailey for a plea and case management hearing on April 27.
